Standby Generator

Standby generators are used as a backup power system when there is a power outage. They turn on automatically to supply electricity to a building. These are intended to maintain the functionality of critical systems and appliances until the main power source has been restored. An automatic transfer switch (ATS) that detects when the primary power source fails is included in standby generators. These are available in a range of sizes and power levels, from compact models that can back up just a few critical circuits to bigger models that can power a whole building.
